Network Solutions

Communications are the arteries of the modern factory floor, supplying and distributing data between instruments, plant and controllers. With the ever increasing number of networks and communication protocols, it becomes more and more difficult to keep up to date with which system offers the best solution for a particular application. Also most manufacturers are now offering some kind of comms or networking on instruments and plant controllers. With our working knowledge of new and older communications, we can offer advice and design a solution to suit your needs.

With new plants, specifying a new plant wide comms system is easier, but not all manufacturers offer the same protocols or features. This makes specifying comms more difficult, but when adding to or improving only part of an existing plant, careful consideration must be taken to ensure the continued operation of the existing comms and how these existing systems will intergrate with the new networks and communication.

We can help ensure a smooth changeover or intergration of comms on a site by performing a comms survey and providing an assessment of what should be implemented to ensure minimum down time.
