The raking arm of the machine is operated by three hydraulic rams for grab, linear, and lifting movements and is rotated at the base by a geared motor unit.

The Brackett Bandit™ Raking Machine is supplied complete with a control panel housed within a GRP kiosk, which enables a variety of control methods.

The Brackett Bandit™ raking machine is also available with a steel mounted structure for high flood conditions and culverts with no concrete support behind the screen.
Max Wright Limited has supplied new software to control the Bandit™ Raking Machine. The new software controls the complete sequence of operations of the Bandit via a Schneider PLC and MMI. The software can be configured to suit most applications where the Bandit is likely to be used. The software generates alarms to provide the operator with the exact location of the fault. Armed with this information Brackett Geiger are in a better position to provide a quick response and solve any problems that arise on site.
